    Healthier Vending Options

    Goal
    To provide healthier snacks and drinks from our vending machines.

    Activity
    We are committed to offer healthier products from our vending machines. As pioneer Selecta launched its Balanced Options programme in 2005. The programme includes healthier products meeting strict nutritional criteria of calories, fat, sugar and sodium. Since its introduction, the programme has been implemented across Europe in over 15’000 machines. In addition, we provide different local solutions tailored for schools, hospitals and leisure centres offering healthier vending products.

    Certified Product Offer

    Goal
    To offer certified and sustainable products and ensure clients and consumers can purchase them via Selecta vending machines.

    Activity
    As a business we are committed to offering high quality sustainable and certified alternatives to our clients and consumers. We constantly increase the amount of certified products across all of our different product categories. Our miofino coffees are already available in eight different certified blends. You can also enjoy sustainable teas, hot chocolates and other drinks and snacks.

    We work with the major certification houses such as UTZ Certified, Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade and local organic labels to be bale to provide a wide range of certified alternatives from our vending machines.

    Quality Control

    Goal
    To get it right first time, every time and to constantly exceed our customers’ and consumers’ expectations.

    Activity
    We are committed to offering our consumers high quality products and service. We constantly check the quality of our coffees. We train our operations teams to set up and calibrate the hot drink machines correctly. We provide them with the right tools and recipes to ensure good quality coffee and hot drinks. We regularly research consumer needs and changes in taste so we can refresh our offer to match these new requirements.

    An important part of our Quality Control is a comprehensive European quality audit programme, which we perform on over 10'000 machines at customer sites to ensure that we meet the highest standards in hygiene, merchandising, functionality and branding. Thanks to this audit programme, we are able to measure quality at our points-of-sale across Europe and constantly improve it. The quality results also help us develop our training processes and services to meet our clients’ and consumers’ needs.

    The Selecta Group has an HACCP programme for food safety control, which includes risk analysis and guidance on how to handle our products and machines.

    Nutritional Information

    Goal
    To help our consumers choose healthier products by providing nutritional and allergens information of our products.

    Activity
    We are collecting nutritional information on our products and making them available to our consumers. As it is not always possible to show this kind of information next to the products in our vending machines, the nutritional information will be available by request and on our web-sites.
